ID3 Metadata missing when converting to Flac

New Here ,

No ID3 metatdata is being written to my files when I export a recorded .wav file as .flac file?

When I open the exported .flac file in my ID3 tag editor, the onlt data present is the filname in the 'Title' field, nothing else?

My process:

I'm editing the ID3 data for my recoded .wav files and saving them, this retains the information when I load the .wav file back into Audition. I then batch export multiple .wav files as .flac files (with 'Include markers and other metadata' checked) but when I open the exported .flac files in an external ID3 tag editor, ALL the data is missing?

This is a real headache.

FLAK doesn't natively support ID3, and there's absolutely no guarantee that ID3 metadata will be converted successfully when you make copies. I believe that this has as much to do with the codecs as anything, and isn't something that's really under Audition control.
