Hello. I just installed Audition CC 2019 on a new Mac running Mojave. How do I get my Favorites from another Mac in (the right) place?

You need to copy across Favorites.xml from the Audition's settings folder on the old Mac to the settings folder on the new computer. To find the Settings folder open the Help menu in Audition and click on Reveal Log Files. This will take you to a sub folder in Audition's Settings folder. So just go back up one folder level to find where all the .xml settings files are and look for Favorites.xml.

There really needs to be a complete set of directions for doing this for Favorites, Keyboard Shortcuts, Application Settings, etc.., for both Mac and PCs, incuding any variations due to version changes,

Doaes anyone know if there is a complete online document that is up-to-date??

This technique does not work in Audition 2020.  Navigating to the log files reveals no upper level folder with .xml files, let almost favorites.xml

If you didn't sucessfully unhide the folders, then you definitely won't see them. The paths for folders haven't altered in either Macs or PCs, but whether the technique in the previous post is correct, I couldn't tell you, as I don't own a Mac. I'd be inclined to ascertain this independently if I were you...

For those on a Mac, you can see these files (in another user folder )if you unhide hidden folders:

    1. In Finder, open up your user folder.
    2. Press Command+Shift+Dot. (so you can see the library)
    3. Your hidden files will become visible. Repeat step 2 to hide them again!

I mostly put this here so when I forget how to transfer these, I'll see this reminder again. 😉

Thanks a lot! That helped. Just want to add for other readers with the same question that the Favorites.xml file from version 11.0 can not be used in version 12.0. I had to update to version 12.0 on my old Mac first and copy the new Favorites.xlm file from that version to my new Mac.

That's strange since the settings are normally compatible amongst adjacent versions of Audition. Sometimes they might not be going from a newer version back to an older one if there are new effects in the later version however.
