Latency Issue in 2018 Release

I use a Focusrite Scareltt 2i2 Second Gen to connect to my MacBook Pro.  Before I updated, I could record in multitrack with no delay in my monitoring.  Now it's unusable.  When I change the buffer settings it gets better but not much.  Is there some option I am missing here?

I figured it out.  Smart monitoring was enabled as a default.  Latency is fine.

I am having the same issue Moose. Where can I disable smart monitoring??

Edit: Fixed

Turn off this preference: Prefs>Multitrack>Enable Smart Monitoring

Epic, spent a couple of hours trying to resolve this issue (including having to record with headphone off in order to not be put off by latency) that seemingly started happening out of nowhere. Really, really helpful - thanks mate, you rock!
