Multiband compressor

The version Audition CC 2017 presents a problem with use of Broadcast multiband compressor. The message says: The pre-established adjust "Broadcast"is not downloaded properly. I use an IMac. I uninstalled the app and installed again the same app, but the problem remains. Could you help-me about this problem? I thank you your attention.

I don't think your language of choice would have any reason to substitute decimal points with commas in float/decimal value parameters. Try replacing as displayed, and then re-save as a custom preset.

Also, I'm curious as to why you are compelled to use this preset? Nothing wrong with it if you understand what it does and most importantly - how to optimize it.

First, I thank you for your help. I'am a student in an university in Barcelona. I am studying Theory and Practice of Audiovisual Montage. I am editing a filmed scene (video and audio). The professor told us to try to improve the audio of the scene with the preset "Broadcast" of Audition Adobe program. I installled the previous version of Audition (CC 6.0). All the program works fine. I uninstalled this version and installed CC 2017. It was when the message I showed you appeared.

I will follow your advice. After editing my scene, I will try to find out where is the problem with the last version.

Audition CC2017 isn't the latest version. Since October it has been CC2018.

Do any of the other Presets in that Effect work OK?

Hello Paul,

I was wrong with the versions. I'm working those days with the last version, CC 2018.

Before that, I worked with version 6.0 because I knew it well.

I'm sorry I did not do a test before with the rest of the multiband compressor effects because I've seen that only the "De Esser" and "Walkie Talkie" effects work. The rest, if I try to activate any of them, the same message appears: they have not been loaded correctly. I have uninstalled the version 2018 and installed CC2017. The same problem occurs. Only with the 6.0, all the effects of the multiband compressor work without problems.
