Is it possible to remove DC offset without normalizing the file? I noticed when I applied remove DC offset from Favorites, that the undo says, "Undo Normalize."

It's only saying that because that's the name of the effect - it doesn't imply anything at all about what you did with it. So if you remove a DC offset and don't do anything else at all it will shift the waveform - but it will still be regarded as one of the normalize functions. IOW don't worry about what it's called - I mean, what's in a name? 😉

Thanks so much for your response. The label is confusing because the name of the effect is "Remove DC Offset," not "Normalize." Since normalization changes the audio level, I was concerned that "Remove DC Offset" was doing something undesired. Sounds like it's just a misleading name for the effect in the Undo History.
