I tried to search the forums for this but it's a little difficult to word, sorry if it has already been covered and for my lack of experience in Audition! I work at a live music theater with an original variety show. The production crew has given me a video file of the entire show and tasked me with making an audio CD to sell in the gift shop. I am a graphic designer and have the full Adobe suite and I have played with Premiere and Audition enough but am no audio/video editing expert. I have opened the video in Premeire and exported the sound to a .wav file. I open that .wav file in audition and mark tracks, create CD layouts and then burn the CDs. Here is my question: how do I force the CD to play continuously between songs without leaving the 1 or 2 sec gap between tracks? The tracks themselves are exactly aligned and, if you don't skip tracks, you should be able to listen all the way through as if you are listening to the show live. However, the CD player is pausing a second or two between tracks. Is that something I can fix in Audition or is that just a function of each person's CD player? Thank you in advance!
Go to Edit>Preferences>Markers and Metadata:
... and set it to 00:00:00:00
That will leave you with a two second gap at the start of the CD, but that's in the basic Red Book spec, and you can't get rid of that at all. But for the rest of the CD, you should end up with no gaps.
