Restore overwritten File

I have a wav file which I accedentally have overwriten in adobe audition. Now I have closed the same project. Is there any way to save my file?

If you resave an updated file with the same name, then the original is overwritten. This is not undoable, I'm afraid. This is why we always tell people that when editing, they should always use a copy of the file, not the original.
