Ripple delete not affecting Bus Tracks

Hello,

Quite a major issue.

I have a number of effects mapped to several bus tracks in Audition 2017 (issue also applies in 18 I have just tried).

When I attempt to do a ripple delete, the keyframes in the main tracks (effect automation not track volume) all move but the keyframes in the bus tracks do not.

This seems like a bug, it's very annoying however as if there isn't a fix for this I'll have to manually move all of my keframes across the whole project... which is two hours long currently.

Any clues on how to make ripple delete affect bus track automation?

This is a MAJOR problem and a warning should be put up.  Ripple delete affects automation keyframes on audio tracks so why not on Bus tracks?

    Disgusting.

Yikes! Disgusting? That's a bit harsh. It's very annoying, I'll grant you that. I sure would love to see it fixed!

Say, why don't you go upvote my suggestion: Please make Ripple Delete affect Bus automation – Adobe video & audio apps

Yeah, this isn’t my thread. Just commiserating with a fellow sufferer.

I feel your pain, andrewg: Re: Moving Automation Keyframes When Inserting/Deleting Time

Have you ever found a workaround? This is a major pain for me.

No. As explained in the other thread you can't use Ripple Delete on Bus tracks. Ripple Delete only works on audio clips and since there is no actual audio in a Bus track you cannot remove time from it at present unfortunately. It will need Adobe to come up with a completely new feature to be able to do so I'm afraid

However you can select a load of keyframes at once by holding the Control key whilst selecting them. The with the Shift key held down you can click on the last keyframe in the selected group and move them all together to the correct time. Again this could be easier if you could select a group of Bus keyframes drawing a Marquee around them like you can with clips. It is very easy though if you need to move all keyframes which you can do by right clicking on a keyframe and Select All Keyframes.
