TAL Vocoder setup

Hello. Has anybody tried TAL-Vocoder? I'm new to VST plugins, so I'm probably missing something really basic. After installing TAL-Vocoder, I can see two entries in the Effects menu: TAL Vocoder-2 and TAL Vocoder II Plugin. Adding either of them to Track 1 with an audio file makes the track silent. I guess some additional routing is required, but I couldn't find any instructions for that

I would suspect that only a very few may have tried TAL in Audition. However there seems to be a lot of info on how to set it up in various other DAWs which should be helpful in how to get it to work in Audition. A Vocoder always needs two inputs, the audio to be modulated and the modulator. So yes some additional routing will be required to get both sets of audio where they are needed for the effect to work. The TAL Vocoder .pdf instruction manual does seem to give you most of the info that you require to get it set up.

Thank you for the suggestion! Tried everything I could come up with but couldn't get it to work. Before finally giving up, had tried MVocoder and made it work, but only as VST3, not VST. I wonder if that might indicate a problem with TAL since it only has a VST version?
