I'm using Adobe Bridge Ver. 15.1.2.737 running on a desktop PC running Windows 11 Home Ver. 24H2, and I wish to use the Photo Downloader option to download .HIF files saved to a SD card from a Sony a6700. I have installed the relevant HEIF and HEVC extensions and Bridge viewer happily displays the .HIF files by browsing to the relevant photos directory on the SD card and also once they have been saved to a directory using windows file explorer.
Any thoughts on how to get this to work, or possibly this will require an update to the "Photo Downloader" part of the program to recognise .HIF files as photos?
