Hi,

I have been doing photograghy for some time now and have been ingesting my photos via "Adobe Bridge - Photo Downloader". I like this becuase it creates .XMP files for each of my photos and I can put my name on the raws using the basic meta data tool. I have been privous worked on a windows machine that gets very hot (in the summer time with no A/C in my room where my desk space is). I decided on getting a new Apple silicon laptop as they do not create as much heat for the same proformance. Editing photos on it in Adobe Bridge and taking it into Photoshop is seamless and could not happen faster.

Apon switching to this new Mac with Apple silicon I have noticed that "Adobe Bridge - Photo Downloader" was not as smooth as say Adobe Bridge or Photoshop. I figured it was just becuase I was accessing the new 128 gig SD cards I had newly purchased as well. Sadly it is becuase "Adobe Bridge - Photo Downloader" does not run nativtly on Apple Silicon!

I am wondering how I can apply this basic meta data and how I should be importing my photos to use with my Adobe products. Also wondering if there is an ETA or update on the "Adobe Bridge - Photo Downloader!"

Thanks,
Jimmy V
