Hello!

Bridge 13 (version  13.0.2.636)

Windows 10 Pro version 19045.2486

Nvidia 2060 Aorus driver version 528.02

I was viewing a recent shoot and browsing ARW files, for ratings. This was done after the previews were extracted on standard size.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

We suspect that the recent NVIDIA driver update is causing crash in Adobe Bridge.

(Driver version : 31.0.15.2802 (528.02) , Release date : 5 Jan 2023)

We are further investigating the issue, please confirm if the issue is resolved by either of the below steps:

  1. Downgrade the NVIDIA graphic card driver from NVIDIA official site

  1. Switch to “Software rendering” in Bridge preferences by following the below steps.
    • Navigate to Edit-> Preferences-> Advanced
    • Enable checkbox “Use Software Rendering”
    • Restart Bridge
    • Check if the crash is resolved while previewing files.

Thank you for your response.

I downgraded Nvidia drivers to 527.56 and selected software rendering and the problem no longer occurred.

Right now other apps need the benefits of an updated driver so I reverted to the last Nvidia update and decided to use the advanced 3d settings and not let the application decide. This also worked and Bridge was stable.
