Automate and Scripts in Bridge

I really miss the Auotmate and Script in Bridge. I wonder who got the bright idea to remove it and put it in Photoshop. That person didn´t think it through. I hope they bring it back to Bridge again, by all means, have it in Photoshop also. When I work with a big batch of pictures where some use clipping masks and others don´t you get much better visual and sorting capabilities within a folder Bridge when doing tasks. Now it is so awkward and visually worse. You go to Photoshop to execute the task, and then go back to Bridge, back and forth back and forth, make no sense.

Would you be able to provide the steps (scripts) which were working earlier and not working now?

And in which version of Bridge were they working? And in which version did they break?

Any additional information that you think might be important will help us in resolving the issue.
