Salutations,
Bridge was already slow, with the very latest version it got even slower.
With folders of 800-900 images (raw) it cannot be used for sorting and rating photos.
Also setting the fastest parameters for previews.
Scrolling in full screen freezes, or is very slow (5-7 seconds to scroll between one photo and another!)
Also for such large folders I don't know why it doesn't keep the preview in mind. (values in the options all ok)
I tried to clear the cache of that folder and regenerate it from the beginning, but with no solution.
Will you solve the problem with the next version?
So I can't use it.
Thank you

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
Please try updating to ACR 14.3 release, that should fix the issue.
Let us know if you still face the same.
Thanks,
Bridge Team

Unbelievable. It FINALLY WORKS! YES!
Thanks. OMG. Thumbs are generated in an instant. Mind bending, after all these years of frustration.

Mine finally works on the Mac, too. It was at a dead standstill...I hope it's going to hold now!! Very thankful - it's a KEY program!

AMAZEBALLS! Not sure what the heck you guys did but it COMPLETELY changed my experience. I did the most recent RAW update and now it's finally blazing fast again. I appreciate it.

Having exactly the same issue since the last update, it takes forever to batch export and i am only talking 20-30 files.
Everything is up to date BUT in my creative cloud account, it saws Camera Raw is up to date but unlike every other app, there is no "open" available on it, and when i move my curser over the name Camera Raw, nothing happens where the curser changes on every other app when you move it over it.

Found a solution (on Windows). Go to Defender/Firewall and create a new rule which forbids bridge.exe and bridgeproxy.exe the internet access. No crazy reload times, no empty looking folder, no stuttering while scrolling etc

I'll try, thanks.
I use the latest updated version of Bridge
I don't find it though
bridgeproxy.exe
Using Kaspersky Internet Security

It´s in the Bridge Folder directly under Bridge.exe. bridgeproxy.exe

Oh Dario, if you don´t find it just try to block the bridge.exe

Yes I found bridgeproxy.exe on the PC,
but inside Kaspersky applications no ...
I created the block just for bridge.exe now I will try to work like this

I would delete Kaspersky anyway. Try the defender, its super easy to do and here, right now bridge works like the good old cs6 version

This worked perfectly for me. Thanks for doing what Adobe wouldn't (giving us a solution).

I wish I were technical enough to do this - I am not sure how.

I appears that the bridge being unusably slow isn't a priority issue to fix for adobe. It's always been slow. I believe it was initially created to give an excuse to removing thumbnail images of PSDs in explorer - creating the necessity to have the bridge in order to preview a PSD rather than having to open the file to see what it is.

Hi, users of Apple Silicon chips experiencing slowness issues should try the latest Beta build of Bridge, as there is native support for M1 chips: https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/an-update-for-the-adobe-bridge-beta-is-now-availab...

Hello, Bridge 13.0.1 has native M1 suppport that should fix most slowness issues on machines running those processors, you should upgrade to that version, but be informed that while it supports a modern UI with multiple content tabs, it has for the moment lost the multiple windows feature. It might be wise to keep a copy of V12 if you need that feature.

I cant belief how my new macbook M1 2022 is now unable to handle my raw files.. This is unbelievable and totally not accaptable. Its not even possible to label things correctly. Shame on you Adobe.

Dang, I thought it was because I had to many files on my hard drive so I moved up to a 7200RPM drive from 5400rpm, of course that did nothing but heat up my office.
Upgrades are supposed to make things run better not worse.

I don't think it's only a Mac issue. Bridge for me is unusuable. With folders of around 1000 RAW files, each 50-60MB, it take a couple of seconds after each click (label, grade, preview etc.)
At the moment my workflow is:
- create seperate folder only with preview jpgs. label jpgs,
- then in Windows explorer select RAW files manually which are next to jpgs (same name). Sucks.
Running:
Intel i5-12600k
64GB RAM 3600Mhz cl 16,
RTX 2080 Super 8 GB
SSDs 4000MB/s read spead and above
Win 11
