Bridge 23 Window Position with different Workspaces

Hi folks,

today I updated Bridge 22 to the new 23 version.

In the old versions I configured my workspaces to open on different positions on my monitors, e.g. workspace1 on monitor 1 in full screen and workspace2 on monitor 2 in half screen. When I canged the spaces, they automatically changed position and size.

In the 23 version they do not. I imagine that there was an option where you could set this, but can´t find it anymore.

Has anyone an idea?

The ability to have multiple windows was dropped when they replaced it with the ability to have multiple Content Tabs.

Adobe is reviewing ways to bring that back, so stay tuned. (It apparently is not that easy to have multiple Content Tabs and multiple windows. People have been asking for multiple Content Tabs since Bridge 1 was released.)

Hi Gary,

yes, I'm aware that you can't have multiple windows at the same time. I meant switching between two workspaces when using only one window. Sorry if I didn't describe that clearly.

Hi, @tobiasw84565929

OK, thanks for clearing the "two-window" issue. Sorry I misunderstood.

It took me a lot of re-reading your question over and over, but then it was obvious what you were asking about. But now I'm stuck as I've always had only one monitor and therefore, I didn't even know that Bridge could do that! This is why I had problems parsing your question.

About the only thing, I can speculate for you to try is after switching from "Workspace-screen1" to "Workspace-screen2" is to go to the three lines (the hamburger menu) just to the right of the Workspace's name and select "Reset to Saved Layout." If that doesn't work, I'm at a loss.

Otherwise, please go to https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/ and place a request for this feature to be brought back.

I'm sorry I could not offer more, good luck!

Hi Gary,

sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately I couldn´t solve the issue. Seems like they cancelled the options to save the position of a new workspace. I attached the dialog for a new workspace in Bridge 22 and 23.

I think, I´ll place a request for this feature.

Thank you very much for your help
