I've migrated my copy of CS6 from a10.8.5 Mac to a new 10.12.5 MAC. Installation accomplished with Adobe support help. But photo downloader does not detect the camera (or any camera) and I am unable to import. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Hi Dhfriedm,
As your camera is not getting detected in Bridge, could you please let us know which camera model are you using?
You can try resetting bridge's preferences.
Start Adobe Bridgeand immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.
After resetting Bridge's preferences, Restart the camera then connect it to the computer and let us know if it works.
Regards,
Sahil

I literally download from my Nikons, both a D5 and a D850 everyday, for years. This morning neither camera is detected, resetting didn't work

Hi Gary,
How are you trying to link to them? Direct USB to camera or to card reader?
Have you updated your computer at all recently?
Which versin of Bridge are you using (and what release)?
What is your OS (and what release)?
Thanks!
