This version of Bridge is so buggy it contantly slows me down.
Problems:
1. Constantly loses previews. I want to start working and I have to find that a folder I had just worked in had lost all previews and I have to wait minutes for the previews to rebuild
2. This is even a problem with JPEGs 400 kb per file. I have towait until Bridge slowly reloads each file.
3. On some occasions I get distorted previews
4. Regularly I get flashing empty rectangles where the previews should be and only after long reload periods the previews show up.
5. Bridge - in 2021 - still CANNOT DISPLAY PROPHOTO color space but only sRGB.
My question: why is Bridge always so buggy? Why does it never work as it should?
I am professionally dependent on functional software and I'm not getting it.
My recommendation: Adobe is a big company with a huge staff. Focus more on giving us software that works than to give us constantly new versions that do NOTHING for us. There is no difference between Bridge 9 and Bridge 11 except the bugs.
Mac OS X Catalina.

Are the cache files stored in the same folders?
When you get a image that has a distored preview, have you tried clearing the cache for that image?
Is PhotoPro color space selected in your camera raw preferences?
Is your video card driver upm to date?

I don't know where the cache is stored. The distorted image resolves itself after the image preview rebuilds. I do not use Camera Raw at all - I use Capture One Pro and all TIFFs that I export are in that color space. I am on a Mac so there are no driver updates.

Go to edit/camera raw preferences and select "photo pro" under workflow.
Bridge uses the ACR settings for its workflow such as thumbnails.
R-click the image thumbnail you are having a preview problem with and select "purge cache for selection"
