No it cannot. Bridge is primarily an image viewer with lots of other capabilities but it cannot manipulate pixels.

You can make an Action with PS to do that manipulation and then in Bridge run a batch processing which would include that Action. That way you could do a whole folder of images through Bridge.

Yes! It depends.
In the Curves, move the shadow anchor point completely opposite—up or down. Do the same for the highlight anchor point. This creates a "negative," or an invert.

Yes, it does with Bridge scripting.

Bur aren't all of these "adjustments" done via Photoshop via those scripts?

And if so, than isn't it a bit less confusing to say that they can be done "in Photoshop via scripts placed in Bridge." Or something to that effect...

It doesn't have to redirect Image to Photoshop. Bridge scripting has inbuilt functions to read / write image pixels. So if you'll make a loop over all of them you can change color value of each to inverted.

Where? How?

Can you explain to me how Bridge can work on pixels?

I'm very curious about this becuase having used Bridge since v. 1, I am unuaware about this.

On servicesandapis find Bridge and click 'View Downloads'. Download 'Bridge_2021_SDK.zip' in which you find 'Adobe Bridge 2021 Javascript Reference', where in 'BitmapData Object' you have amid other methods getPixel & setPixel. To calculate inversion google simple formula 🙂
