I just updated to Bridge 2023 and Photoshop 2023.
Now, if I want to OPEN a photograph in Bridge, nothing happens.
It's used to be, in the earlier versions of Bridge and Photoshop, I could open a file in Bridge, then open it in Photoshop.
Already I have uninstalled both B '23 and PS '23 and reinstalled both.
The inability to open to Photoshop a file in Bridge remains.
This has worked for years, I am now in a bind because the workarounds are time consuming.
Can anyone help?
Mahalo!

Are these images raw images? If so, then yes, this is a known bug. One way around this until it's fixed is to take the image from Bridge and drag it onto the Bridge icon in the Doc. Then it will work as before.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Aloha!
Thanks!
Frustrated and with tons of photos to work with I ended up unistalling PS '23 and Bridge '23 and reinstalling PS '22 and Bridge '22 and the problem went away!
I'm not usually one for grumbling, but I find myself astonished that Adobe would release "new" versions of core programs that work less well than the versions they are replacing. Updates are supposed to be better!
Thanks again! Appreciate your response.

Hi Kirtland26199954zvje,
Latest November update to Bridge (Bridge version 13.0.1) has fixed an issue where files with MASK applied via Camera Raw was not opening in Photoshop.
If your files had Masks, you may want to upgrade to the latest version and check.
Thanks,
Bridge Team
