Cannot delete files in Bridge

Community Beginner ,

I Cannot delete files in Adobe Brigde 2019. I tried everything from deleting the cache manually in Bridge, deleting it through Libraries map in Finder. Resetting Bridge with CMD + alt + Shift. Uninstall and reinstall and restarting my Mac. Also have the most recent version on MacOS (Catalina).

I really don't know what I could do anymore. I am trying to delete some files on my Nas drive btw.

Have to ask, but did you also reset preferences when you reinstalled?

Hi,

Yes I did.. I noticed I cannot delete through Finder also. So it's probably a Nas HDD error.. Not specifically to Bridge. But annoying as hell though.

Bridge has always had issues with  NAS hard drives.

I suggest you check your recycle folder and see if its empty.

Check the file attributes.

They may write protected.

Catalina is having serious problems with NAS drives. Check with the drive vendor to see if they have a fix.

It does have something to do with the files being on a NAS. It works atm, I think Bridge gets into trouble with the NAS if it is too full. I almost had 100% full capacity on the disks. Not helpful ofcourse. Since weeks not had the problem. I don't know specifically what solved it, but I do know that I cleaned up a lot of files, deleted caches in Bridge itself and manually through Libraries. My feeling is it was that the drives just were too full, but I am just not sure. It's still 90% full but it works... So I will update if it happens again. I was so frustrated for a while honestly! Thanks for the advice.

Has nothing to do with it as bridge is the only program effected.  I just updated new release of bridge...  The issue seems corrected.
