Changing the date format in the batch rename tool?

I organize all of my image files by renaming them beginning with the date taken using the format YY/MM/DD. For some reason, the newest version of Bridge inserts an extra space before YY which screws up my filing system. I can't figure out how to remove that extra space in the batch tool program. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Removing the extra space should be easy enough, however I too can’t reproduce this behaviour so more information is needed.

Are you using Tools > Batch Rename in Bridge? I can not reproduce that problem on Win 10 with the latest release of Bridge 8.0.1.282.

Can you post a screenshot of Batch Rename dialog and options which you are using?
