Delete Favorite folder

Participant ,

I work on a Mac...I have a folder that was part of a NAS set up in my favorites section of Bridge. I no longer have any of the files or folders from the NAS but that folder is still in my favorites. I can't just click on it to remove it...anytime I try to do something with it, it just send my computer crazy...Bridge stops responding and I have to force quit and re launch bridge. I think this is causing a host of other problems with my computer also, does anyone know how I could delete this folder? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Users,

To remove inaccessible favorites, click on each item then Bridge gives an alert that this is no longer available and that item gets deleted automatically from the favorites folder.

Please let us know you face any issues in latest release of Adobe Bridge 8.0.1.282

Regards,

Abhishek Seth.

Hi,

First, if your Adobe Bridge is going crazy, I suggest to reset your preferences by doing the following:

• Close down Bridge

• Holt down the next keyboard short when you fire up Bridge. Attention point: But first click on the icon then push down the keyboard sequel: Command+Option+Shift, this will solve your first problem.

Then the solution for your second problem if it's still necessary

REMOVE YOUR FAVOURITES

To do that do a right click on your favourite in the column and choose Remove from favourite.

This will certainly solve your problem. Good luck.

Patrick

thepatje, thank for your feedback. I will try to reset Bridge.

The folder I'm trying to delete off my favorites, I have tried this solution to right click and choose the option to remove it...thats what sends bridge into the not responding status and then I have to force quit it and re launch it. So hopefully after resetting it will fix the problem.

I'm having the same issue. I have a folder in my favorites on bridge that is no longer available, but it is still showing up in my favorites and can't find a way to delete. I have tried resetting preferences but still no luck. Did you find a solve?

Thanks

You'll have to wait until it times out and Bridge removes the folder. Bridge is trying to connect and it no longer exists.

There is NO rightclick option on the Favorites list items. It just gives the same error as when I left click on it. (Adobe Bridge 2021 on Mac)

So Control-click. If you haven't turned on right-click, that's how you get to contextual menus on the Mac.

Tried on both Mac and PC now, there is no contextual menu when you right click on the "Favorited" dropdown or any of the list items in that menu.

What in tarnation are you going on about? There is no dropdown menu. Favorites are in the FAVORITES PANEL as you might expect. Right-click the item to be removed.

We're talking about the "Favorites" dropdown list in Adobe Bridge. There is no contextual menu when you right click on any of these:
