Hi, @mchlaglorod,  the thing that pops into my head on things like this are two things to look into.

First: the folder or files inside that folder you are looking at have a bad character. Something like a "?" or a period in the name "my.foto.jpg," something like that. First, check the name of the folder and ensure it doesn't contain anything unique, but rather straightforward text. If the names of all of the files are the ones the camera provided, they should be OK, but maybe there's a bad image in the lot. To check for this, take half the images and put them into a different folder. Try to open each folder. If one opens and one doesn't, take the 2nd folder, divide that in half, and test again. Keep testing to see if you can narrow this down.

Another thing to try is to see if your Bridge's Preferences need to be refreshed. To do this:

Quit Bridge if Open. Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge, BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, the options are: “Reset Preferences" and "Purge All Local Cache Files.” In your case, check both of them.

Let us know what happens.

No bad characters.

Followed all suggestions to refresh and still no improvements.
