Looking for a way to duplicate the same content tab (the same location path) so I would have two identical content tabs of the same path.
This is simple, but it's a two-step process.
First, from the hamburger menu, select "New Content Tab."
Then, while that new Content Tab is the active tab, go to the "Reveal Recent" in the icon tools in the top left
After pressing (and holding), scroll down to the folder you were last in. This will give you two content tabs of the same content. Note also that this lets you access any recent folder.
Let me know if this was what you were looking for.

This is perfect. Such an obvious workflow! Thank you, Gary!!!!

Great, I'm glad to help.
What I'm hoping for (and have asked for) is that they add the "Recent items" within the Hamburger menu to make the process like this more efficient.

Hello everyone, first of all, thanks for the tip about the recently used folder button 🙏. But I still find it very cumbersome and definitely one click too far away in the workflow. In the past, people were used to opening a new Bridge instance that always had the same window content. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with the tabs, although there is a separate page for this in the default settings (Content>Properties).
Why not? Here I would expect a selection with “Recent”. This is probably also the reason why the community called for the reintroduction of multi-instance functionality. As long as this is not possible with the tabs, most people will probably not actively use them.

Every web-browser has duplicate current tab in the tab-context menu (is also hotkey-able). Another useful one is reopen last closed tab – in case you made a wrong pick. Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + T in Chrome.
