The Bridge search function now defaults to search Adobe Stock.
If I open the Creative Cloud app, there's Stock again. I get that you want to push for it but come on, this is approaching Microsoft-Windows 10-annoying.
Please stop forcing it upon users in this contemptuous way.

Hi Thunderbat,
You can set the default search option preference in Bridge to point to folder search. Click on the lens icon in search bar and select the "Bridge Search: Current Folder". Please see the Red highlighted section in screenshot below.
Thanks,
Deepak Gupta

Wow. You gave the same answer as above, to a question that was still never asked.
Do you guys even read OP's or replies before "answering"?

The fact that it is the default at all is the issue IMO.

There is no answer that tech support can provide to a corporate marketing mandate, except for what they have provided. :]

On a Mac 10.11.16 / Bridge 7.0.0.93
Whatever I select in the Search box, it sticks and shows my choice even after restarting. Same goes for the Edit > Find, any changes made there will show the same next time I open the "Find" window.

Exactly!
It's a complaint/request, but I'll add a question. Do you think that shoving Stock in my face everywhere, like a desperate beach souvenir salesman, will make me:
A) Want to use it.
or
B) Throw it in the fires of Mt Doom.

It makes the Adobe stock line on the bar graph go up which is immediate, easy to measure and money in the pocket today. User sentiment and quality of the apps is hard to measure, and it takes a couple of years to show up on the profit graph, the feedback loop is massive. And when it does, it's too late. The inertia from 5 years of uncompetitive UX is hard to row against, just ask Black berry. They had 5 star product reviews and record profits years into the iPhone being on the market.
