File Associations

Advocate ,

Why does Bridge continue to associate with OLD versions of Adobe apps? All Photoshop associations are 2018. Even when it's not installed! And Illustrator is 2018 too. When I reset all associations to default it remains the same. And when I try and change associations the current programs are not available in the dropdown, even though sometimes older versions are! The only way is to navigate to the specific app in Explorer! This is ridiculous!

What version of Bridge do you have installed? If you never updated to Bridge CC 2019, you wouldn't have the new versions of everything else available. Check that first.

9.0.3.279. I presume this is 2019.

Yes, your version is 2019. I would reset the preferences and see if that helps. Do you still need the 2018 version? Uninstall them...
