Files Lost After Batch Renaming to a new Folder Through Adobe Bridge

I Batch Renamed a hundred or so RAW files in Bridge and mistakenly chose to "Move to Other Folder" instead of copying them, but only some were moved (about 43 of the 150 or more files). I've tried searching by the file names and they're nowhere to be found. I saw a previous post saying that Adobe cannot lose files, but I can't find them anywhere. Has anyone been able to find them once they're lost?

Even if the name was changed, the creation date has not. Can you search for images with that date?

When I try searching by date the only files that come up in the search results are the same 43 files, which are the only ones that appear to have been moved when I did the Batch Rename to other folder.

I forgot to mention that the files I was moving were stored on an SD card and I was Batch Renaming and Moving them to an external hard drive. I wasn't watching the screen the entire time so I didn't see if there was an error message at some point. I did an initial batch, then I Renamed & Moved a second batch after that. It wasn't until after all of that when I went to the see the files on the external hard drive that I realized only 43 files were there. In total there were about 150-200 files that I had moved, none of which are on the SD card anymore.

Hi, question: did you have the checkbox offering to erase the card after a transfer?

What I do suggest is that you look into file recovery software. And, do not use that card until you've recovered the files.
