I have several PDF(s) that have more than 1 page that I'd like to make a contact sheet for. I know it's possible to do by first extracting the PDFs as single page PDFs. But is there a way to do so directly in Bridge, without actually having to extract the pages first? So just using the multiple page PDFs as they are.

Just drag all the photos into the layout window. The OP is about using a multipage pdf as a source.

Hi Ernie,
For PDF's with multiple pages, you will have to split the pdf's and then use them to create a contact sheet.

that's how i do it now. i was just wondering if there's a way to skip that step. It would be nice if bridge supported multiple page PDFs for contact sheets.

Hi Ernie,
If you have Adobe Acrobat Installed, you can use the File>Export To > Image > JPEG option to convert the whole PDF into separate JPEG image files per page.
Once all the pages are converted to images, you can select the required image files and use the Output module directly to create the contact sheet.
Thanks,
Siddharth

i would rather extract the PDFs as single page PDFs, which is what I do now. I was looking for a solution to skip this whole step of creating a single page document. So I guess Bridge still doesn't support multipage page PDFs?

You would think creating a multiple page PDF contact sheet was doable - esp since we have the option to add a page number on the sheet. Why have that page number feature if you can only do one page by itself?! I know I can edit that page number in Acrobat but it still seems ridiculous. I have several hundreds of photos I need to throw into 4 compiled contact sheets and doing this 1 page at a time is going to drive me crazy.
