keywords do not show in bridge

I had 25,000 pictures that were keyworded in bridge previously. I uninstalled it, and recently installed a new copy. None of my keywords that took me a month to enter show in the new copy of bridge. why is it doing that?

I also have lightroom classic and photshop, and there is no problem with those keywords.

Do you mean the Keywords panel has no keywords in it... Or do you mean that the image has no keywords embedded in it? Can you check if other software sees the keywords in the images? This could be a Bridge issue with the cache/index – or it could be a file issue.

Bridge has its own keyword file, if you removed Bridge then that was likely deleted. However, keywords that were saved to files will show up as non-persistent.

I would think that bridge would by default load the keywords automatically from the metadata. If not, I would not use it. It took a month to do the initial keywording
