When I go to Tools>Photoshop, whatever I choose it gives me a message I need to restart Bridge. If I keep both PS and bridge open, the problem does not repeat. I do not have the latest versions because with the updated versions, going to Tools>photoshop does nothing.

The reason that nothing happens when you select Tools>Photoshop is probably that you installed Bridge and Photoshop in the incorrect order or you have mismatched versions of the two pieces of software. You must install Bridge first because, when you then install Photoshop, Photoshop installs relevant scripts so that these links work correctly. If you install Photoshop first then it cannot do this since Bridge is not present and no install can take place. I can but recommend that you uninstall both Bridge and Photoshop and reinstall them in the correct order, Bridge first. Use the CC App to install the current versions of each which is essential for full compatibility as they form a matching pair.

I've been getting the "Please restart Bridge to use Photoshop options" frequently since one of the recent updates, but I had never seen it before. I have both Bridge and Photoshop open most of the time and things will be working fine for awhile...and then suddenly I start getting the message, usually when I try to use the Image Processor. Note that I'll still be able to open an image in ACR and it will open into Photoshop even after getting the popup, but I will not be able to use Image Processor until I restart Bridge.
Perhaps related, after closing Bridge, if I select to Browse Bridge from Photoshop, it fails to open on the first attempt, but will open on the second.
Windows 11 Home 24H2, Bridge version 15.0.2.432, ACR version 17.2, Photoshop version 26.4.1 Release

I am also intermittently getting the "Please restart Bridge to use Photoshop options" window when I try to run a Batch in Bridge. I also noticed by clicking the hazard icon that "Adobe Photoshop is not installed on this system" when I went to Bridge > Edit > Preferences > Applications and the Choose a version was greyed out. However, when I restarted Bridge I was able to choose Adobe Photoshop 2025 under Choose a version because the hazard icon was no longer shown. Fingers crossed this may have solved the problem. The problem started after I removed some earlier versions of Photoshop and Bridge.
