Does anyone know if the ability for multiple people to use a single collection stored on a network or cloud server is coming? I am not talking about a full-fledged DAM/MAM but just a place to store some images and design assets that others can view and search via keyword/tag. How about the ability to create shareable libraries in Bridge? It would seem Bridge and library creation would be a natural fit.
Bridge is simply a file browser. It does write to a cache so you need to set it to export cache to folders. Working with files on a network share is fine if slow at times.
You might want to look at Creative Cloud for Teams as there are collaboration features available, if simple file browsing isn't enough.

Hi Sean,
Adobe rarely announces their future plans until products are ready for the market, so it’s doubtful any roadmap would be publicly available.
That said, if you’re writing out Keywords with Bridge, into files stored in a network share, the information should be searchable within Bridge by anyone else with access to the files.

Thanks MIke. I figured as much but was hoping, with all the news that came out about Sensei and the upcoming technologies mentioned at the last Adobe conference, someone would have heard or seen something.
I'll see if I can work with the IT guys to set something up on a server. Although, everything I have read says Adobe currently does not support network deployment.
Thanks again for your answer!

On a windows system you would have major share violations that could not be controlled.
Bridge on a network would not be a viable solution, now and in the future.
