Scrolling in Bridge 2024 too slow

The scrolling in the keyword-list and in the thumbnail view in Bridge 2024 is much slower (and therefore worse) than in Bridge 2022.
Scrolling using Mouse Wheel in Windows 11 is factor 3 or 4 times slower.
Where in 2022 about 0.8 of a thumbnail height was scrolled with one wheel tick - it's in 2024 less than 0.2 of a thumb's height.
Same in keyword list.
Is the scrolling adjustable in Bridge 2024? Please resolve this bug!

I'm so happy to see this. I thought the slow scrolling meant something was going wrong on my Mac Studio hard drive. Yes, scrolling through a folder with a significant number of files and subfolders has gotten really slow, even after everthing is indexed. It can hang for many seconds as I try to scroll. Some poor developer has created a bug here, possibly with caching, and let's hope it's quick to find and faster to fix.

Justin---take a look at the "Not Moving from Br 12 to Br 14" thread. You'll see that this has been a problem ever since the first drop of Br 13 almost 20 months ago.

Yes and the latest Bridge also simply STALLS OUT endlessly, when (for example) you click on a new sub-folder and NOTHING HAPPENS, often for 30 seconds or more. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I wish Adobe would issue CLEAR DIRECTIONS on how to stop the ENDLESS b.s. "caching" it's doing.
Waiting for this OVER AND OVER AND OVER again is worse than simply building thumnails on the fly.
A wonderful program (as is Photoshop 2024 AI), but BRIDGE's "guts" need to be RE-THOUGHT OUT, or perhaps recompiled.
At present BRIDGE 2024 is "the program that TIME FORGOT."

When scrolling in full screen mode I get a lot of noise as you can see here, the pictures load fine if i stop but its a bit annoying and I don't remember this from previous versions. Any ideas?

This is really a simple issue: people want quick access to their media library. Previews should cached and quick, ready to go with full-version cache as an option. That's it. It's really that simple.
Regretfully all versions of Bridge cannot do this and the time consuming process of waiting for thumbnail generation seriously impairs artist's creativity which is, by the way, necessary when creating art.
Because Adobe has chosen to make zero progress, I've looked into competing products and within 10 minutes solved the issue and found what appears to be a great alternative in ACDSee. I installed the Home Trial version which quickly built a cache that I now use to quickly and efficiently browse my content, creativity unimpaired.
For everyone looking for a solution, I suggest trying ACDSee which cured my woes in 10 minutes.

When will the overall scrolling, moving and what-not-performance be on par with V12?
we still haven't heard from you when and if this can be fixed?
please reply.

Bridge 15.0.2 yields the same slow performance.
From a simple user standpoint the problem is really just slow loading of 100% previews and has very little to do with scrolling. I mean, it takes so long to fully load a "cached" image. Almost as if it isn't cached at all and ist only first cached after being selected (regardless how many times an image has been selected, this occurs every time [but not with version 12!]). This is a super headache for anyone wanting to quickly go through their full format photos in search of the best picks from a shooting.
Use case breakdown:
1) perform a photo shoot
2) transfer all new photos to local hard drive (go eat dinner)
3) open bridge
4) navigate to folder with raw format photos
5) wait until all new photos are fully cached (go grab a glass of wine)
6) click on the first new photo from the shoot.
7) using the arrows on the keyboard, quickly go through the photos (here is where quick loading of 100% previews is extremely important)
8) along the way, label select photos for future editing
9) when finished going through photos, begin further editing or schedule for later.
Thank you for your relentless efforts.
