What Operating System is more important that what language.

In Edit > Preferences, there's a button that in English says "reveal".

Windows XP Professional SP2 is the OS.

In http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/pdfs/bridge_javascript_ref.pdf it it described that the startup scripts have to be in folder like

Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\StartupScripts
or
%APPDATA%\Adobe\StartupScripts

A couldn't find a folder named Startup Script(s) in my whole disc I installed the CS2 German on.

Search your disk for AdobeLibrary1.jsx. This file is in the folder with the startu scripts. If this file is not found, there must be something wrong with the installation.

Andy

That's where the scripts were on my English (don't think it matters) XP Pro system - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\StartupScripts.

StartupScripts is one word, not two as you wrote in your last paragraph.

In Bridge, Edit > Preferences, and there are two buttons and the bottom of the screen. The top one goes directly to the scripts folder.
