Before updating to Bridge 13.0.2.636 and Mac Ventura, my workflow was to Plug in the SD card, open Bridge, import all the files converting them to DNG files in the process, then doing a batch rename. Now after getting a new Macbook, updating the OS to Ventura, then installing Bridge13.0.2.636 I can't find any reference or tools to continue this workflow. Why can't I continue to convert my new downloads to DNG files in the import process?

When you say, "import all files", what process are you using?
Bridge does not actually import anything , you just download images to a hard drive.
If you use the Photo Downloader from within Bridge then the option to convert to DNG is available still.

Sorry I meant "Import from Device". For some reason my "Get Photos from Camera" is not working. I plug my SD card into my SD adaptor slot on my Macbookpro and then select "Get Photos from Camera" from the File menu, but nothing happens. I can see the images on the SD card using the "Import from Device" option, or by just going to the card in the folders panel, but neither of these methods bring up the conversion option or the Photo Downloader dialog.

Import from Device is just invoking Apple's Image Capture app. Get Photos runs the Photo Downloader which can unfortunately be buggy.

Try the latest Bridge update.
Version 13.0.3.693 is now available as a public release.
Any better?

First off, if you have some raw files on your computer, you can convert them to DNG format via the DNG Converter. You can download that from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/adobe-dng-converter.html
Edit: I was just about to do one more test before I sent this off, and everything below is now irrelevant. It's working fine on my system now. I can't say how it will work in 10 minutes, but as of now, no issue. I'm leaving the material below in the chance that anyone else encounters this. I do not know what's causing this or what caused it to return to normal.
MEANWHILE, I was just trying this myself to get some screenshots, and I encountered a new bug: it doesn't work if you are using the MX Master 3 Bluetooth device; nothing works. When I went to a corded mouse, everything worked as I've done for, well, ever.
I do not have enough information or equipment to test whether this is an MS Master 3 mouse or Bluetooth mouse issue.
I can add that when I tried to use Snagit to record the issue to report, my mouse control went out the deep end and was effectively squashed. There are some bad vibes going between Bluetooth mice and Photo Downloader, which is really strange as I've never seen anything like this before in ANY application.

Ok, I updated to the lastest Adobe Bridge version (13.0.3.693), however I cannot bring up the Photo Downloader dialog. I even set the preference to automatically lauch it up when it detects a camera is connected. I assume that plugging an SD card in would trigger it, but nothing. I will try it on my old laptop...

Well Adobe Bridge seems to function correctly on the Intel i7 chip Macbook running Big Sur OS, but not on my newer M1 chip Macbook pro running Ventura. In both cases the SD Card is mounting ok, it is just that on the M1 system nothing seems to launch the Photo Downloader. This sounds like it might be a support centre job...

Hi Flexigav,
Thanks for your feedback.
Could you please share the following details about the issue:
Thanks,

On Mac Ventura OS, neither the Photo Downloader button, nor the "Get Photos from Camera" menu option in Bridge version 13.0.3.693 does anything. I can find the SD Card in the Folders panel and can see the files on it. I can copy them into my downloads folder, but then I have to rename and convert them to .dng format in seperate processes. A plugin might need to be installed for the conversion process going that route.

Hi @Flexigav
Here are two screenshots showing that the option is there on my copy with Ventura (13.2.1), Standard and Advanced views.
So, Ventura is not the issue.
Next, we need to focus down and see what is causing your lack of these options.
Have you tried to Resetting Bridge's Preferences?
To reset Bridge’s Preferences:
Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, choose "Reset Preferences."
Please let us know if this fixed things or not.
If this does not work, you may need to uninstall both Bridge and PS. Then, reinstall Bridge first, then PS 2nd.
Let us know what happens.

OK, I will try that tomorrow. I must add that it is not the options you pointed out that are the problem, it is the whole dialog box. When I click on the Photo downloader button I was expecting that "photo Downloader" dialog box to open, but nothing at all happens. I run two screens, but it is not coming up on either. I should disconnect one and just use the builtin laptop one, just incase it is somehow hidding it...

Hi, @Flexigav Interesting. I've not heard of that being an issue before (but that certainly doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist). I would assume that PD would show up on the primary screen, but that is an assumption. I've never had the option to use two screens before, so I have no background or experience with that dynamic.
