How to stop .BridgeSort files from being created

I do not wish to have Bridge continue making these files and am curious about how to disable them? I am the only one who uses Bridge in a pipeline and do not want to manually delete the file after every project

These files are created to save your custom sort order. Don't sort your files in Bridge.

Is there a simple way then to not have them copied to new devices or folders without deleting them? I don't know how often i've ended up delivering these to clients by mistake.

Do you have the option under View to show invisible files turned on in Bridge?

How do you transfer them, they should be invisible if they have a leading . period character.

Yes, I can make set bridge to "show hidden files" but I I can't see a single "bridgesort" file. They seem to show up when I look at folders in Windows or move folders to Dropbox. When exactly are these files created? It seems like they're not always there.

Even showing hidden files, Bridge doesn't always show its own hidden files. Those are used to store a custom sort order.
