Copy and paste does not work in illustrator web

Still doesn't work in Edge. I just tried in the Mouth templates and in the mouthpack folder, for some odd reason Mouthpack 2 works when I make it open in illustrator web and then just clicked 1 of the groups and used keyboard shortcut to COPY and then opened my own illustrator web file and in a new blank layer used shortcut to PASTE.

But the mouthpack 1 doesn't work. Its just blank when I pasted.

OK so, it kinda works, but not fully as expected

Microsoft Edge browser

1. If a layer group, must NOT have subgroups inside (for example: layer 9)
2. If a layer group, all contents must be 'paths' only (for example: layer 12 , in my screenshot below)
3. Click on a layer group in layers panel and press Control or Command +C
4. Open different illustrator web window
5. add a new blank layer
6. right-click anywhere in workspace and click Paste  (does not work to right click in layer panel. does not work as it should have by pressing Control or Command + V)

I'm stuck too. I am using Edge Browser, on a Windows 11 laptop.

I am using keyboard shortcuts Copy and Paste because I could not find a copy layers button in Illustator (web).

My use case - I am drawing puppet and trying to apply Mouth Shapes template (illustrator) file into my own character artwork in Illustrator (web). Follow desktop workflow (video 5:33  - 6:30 min )

So sorry that you're running into this error. 
Copy and paste is supported in Illustrator Web, and it is possible to have two separate Illustrator project tabs open at the same time and to copy and paste between them.
Could you share your system information and the browser you are using? 
Additionally, you might want to restart your browser and/or computer, and limit how many other tabs you have open at the same time. And please check to make sure all pop up blockers are turned off as this could prevent copying and pasting from working between open tabs.
