Enthusiast ,
Dec 14, 2025 Dec 14, 2025

There seems to be about 20 threads talking about issues with the edting on the timeline, deleting clips etc....

Thought I would share I download and tested Build 12 (as per title) and these issues seem to have been corrected.

I have tested all the issues I had, and they all were restored.  If you can confirm your issues were resolved and post here (or if somethign remains broken).  keepign it all in one place may help others more quickly.

I downloaded the update to the Beta version yesterday (Friday 12 December) and today I am unable to select the timeline window. I can play from the program window but the shortcuts for zoom in and out don't work, and right click options are greyed out when selecting a clip on the timeline. I have restarted my Mac and Premiere Pro, changed the workspace options and opened previous projects but the problem still exisits.

I'm on a tight deadline to deliver a number of projects before Chiristmas so any help is appreciated.

Steps to reproduce:

Expected:

After the last update, the standard key combinations stopped working. cmd+x/c/v, backspace. Maybe more, but that's what I noticed so far.

I just upgraded and suddenly have the same issue.  Focus doesn't switch to the timeline when I click on it or use the keyboard shortcut command.  There for as mentioned above zoom shortcuts zoom the timeline in my program monitor and not the timeline. Also the film impact dashboard isn't working to apply clips in the timeline.  They work if I manually drag the on from effects.  Assuming its to do with the face that the timeline won't take focus

Just update as soon as the notification appeared, now I can't use any timeline command or shortcut. The keyboard shortcuts won't work, my dropdown right click menu  commands appear disabled. Just can't do my job.

Please HELP!
Already cleared my preferences, cache, timeline, and the app wont work correctly.

Same problem - even in a new project. The timeline panel can not be activated and right clicking is not working properly. This happens in the latest Beta version of Premiere Pro. Apple Mq Max. MacOS 26.1 Tahoe. RAM 64 GB.

I updated Beta today to 26.1.0.010 (2025-12-11).

Major issues here! Seems to occur when programe monitor is open, but not when it is closed.

1/ With a video on the timeline, if I right click on the video, all the options on the menu pop up are greyed out.

2/ Also, when typing numbers into text, or when trying to type a new number into the effects control for example to change the scale, I can only type one character at a time. after each letter is entered, I am taken out of the input field as if I had pressed enter.

3/ I cannot copy and paste any video, text or clip on the time line.

I can't edit my posts, so the latest one about the right click of the mouse was incorrect. It's only in some areas of the programme it doesnt work. Also, I cannot left click and drag any effects to change the order in 'effects control'
