P: Always Starts in Parametric Curve

Contributor ,
Oct 29, 2022 Oct 29, 2022

Prior to this ACR release, the curve mode selected was always the last mode used.  With this update, it always starts in Parametric Curve mode.  Even when opening a previously edited file with changes only in the Point Curve, ACR starts in Parametric mode.

Why?  This is new behavior.  Having to select the point curve button every time I edit a file is a waste of time, and I believe is a bug.

second that ... very irritating - ACR shall really open to where the last it was in a prev ACR session / last raw ( or non raw ) file worked with ... forcing always to Parametric Curve mode is PITA !

out of curiosity - how this slip past testing ... it is so in your face bug if somebody uses ACR on a regular basis ? I used ACR may be few times since the new release .. but it is almost like in Adobe people who develop and test ACR don't use ACR ... beats me

PS: the same about missing LAB readouts in ACR... looks like beta testers are a bunch of old geezers on Macs... diversify the pool.
