Hi,
I just wondered is anyone knew when a Camera Raw update will be available for the lastest Canon 6D model?
Very frustrating as I can't open any Raw files in PS CS6.
Cheers,
Georgie
Hi Georgie,
It was announced last week here:
The Canon 6D is top of the list.
To get the ACR 7.3 update, launch Photoshop CS6 or Bridge CS6 and go to Help> Updates...

Hi Georgie,
I checked and didn't find your question over in the Camera Raw forums. I might suggest posting there to increase your chances of getting your answer!

Hi there! Because the forum you originally posted in is for beginners trying to learn the basics of Photoshop, I moved your question to the Camera Raw forum, where you'll get more specialized help.
Good luck!

Adobe Insiders would know how things are going but are be sworn to secrecy with a non-disclosure-agreement. Those of us on the outside don’t know, but a guess would be 6D support sometime in the next few weeks, perhaps before Christmas, or soon thereafter.

Are you on Mac or Win? Can you check if the update actually installed?
On Mac, launch photoshop, go to photoshop>About plug-in>Camera Raw and verify the version installed. If you are on Win the path is under help >about plug-in>camera raw

Hi Adriana,
I've been helping mgphoto2 with her issues on another thread. For some reason the 7.3 installer silently failed and wasn't present. Rerunning the installer seems to have worked on one of her machines, so hopefully she's back and running and can edit her 6D files.
Enjoy your holiday!
