This post applies to Adobe Camera Raw plug-in.     Adobe Camera Raw team is sharing an early look of our new Reflection Removal feature, which removes reflections caused by plate glass surfaces from photos.    Note:  The feature currently only works on raw photos. Support for JPEGs & HEICs is added in the April 24 Update. There is a known issue on some Windows machines where the feature may produce a corrupt image. I'm not seeing any noise reduction using Denoise AI on Pentax K3iii DNG files in Lightroom Classic v12.3. Any future solution to this issue? Thanks Tom

Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting PeopleUnder the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”.   This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. For more accurate results, be sure to include the object's shadow in your selection and/or expand its size.    Detect Objects uses AI to find the objects underneath a brushed area. The masked areas will now appear larger than the Early Access version of this feature. Hi Adobe team, I would like to submit a feature request for support of Sony A7 V Compressed (HQ) RAW files in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw. At the moment, only Lossless Compressed RAW files from the A7 V are supported. Files captured using Compressed (HQ) (as well as standard compressed RAW) are not recognized as fully editable RAW files—they import as previews or are not editable, and they also cannot be converted to DNG using the Adobe DNG Converter. Compressed (HQ) is a primary file format option on the A7 V and is extremely helpful for managing file sizes—especially for high-volume workflows such as events and weddings. Adding support for this format would significantly improve workflow efficiency, storage management, and flexibility for photographers using this camera. Request:Please add support for Sony A7 V Compressed (HQ) RAW files in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw in an upcoming update. If possible, it would also be helpful to know whether this support is already planned or

Landscape AI masking does not work in LRC V15. After a while no mask is generated nor displayed. Using latest W10 64 version, i7 with 32GB RAM,  Nvidia Quadro p620 with latest drivers (DirectX V12) and latest LRC process (V6). Everything worked fine until the update. Have tried disabling graphic card and same results. Any clue ? Is that happening to someone else ?

Pero veo que Camera Raw tiene mejores funcionalidades.He estado mirando en la web qué producto y licencia debo adquirir para operar con Camera Raw, y la verdad es que la información es muy extensa y confusa. Me gustaría adquirir un producto con licencia permanente, no con una suscripción anual. El uso es ocasional y personal, nada profesional.Me gustaría que me guiaran para una compra correcta. Camera Raw 18.2 forces all WebP files to open in ACR. Version 18.1.1 did not support WebP, so Photoshop opened them normally. Now there’s no way to disable WebP handling. Please add a toggle.

Is there a command line script I can execute in Windows (command line) that can have Camera RAW (Photoshop) load a RAW file with edit (XMP file) and then export it to a JPEG file?I know you can batch process images but this usually requires it to be done from within Bridge or even Photoshop, but I’m looking for a way i can do it from the Windows command-line as I’m trying to find a way to do this so I can use it as part of a program (that would then use the exported JPEG file).

The enhance details feature appears to produce some rectangular and square noise artifacts in the processed image. My baseline is a daylight RAW landscape (call it X1) photograph taken at ISO 100. The artifacts appear in the upper half of the photo (a partly cloudy region above a mountain range).   Lightroom Version: 11.2 OS Version: Windows 10 Pro, Build 19044.1526   The steps outlined below are intended to illustrate the difference in images produced by Lightroom's baseline demosaicing algorithm with the "enhance details" demosaicing algorithm. Of course, the artifacts could be due to issues with the baseline algorithm ... but I doubt this is the case as it has been fielded for quite some time.   The TIFF comparison process (steps 11-19) has been successfully used to evaluate Lightroom sharpening and noise reduction combinations. Other than the "enhance details" DNG, I have not seen similar artifacts produced by Lightroom.   Steps to reproduce the are as follows:

I see solutions for prior versions. I’m trying to uninstall the latest Camera Raw (18.2) because it is supposedly a workaround-fix to allow the prior version of Photoshop to open WEBP images like it did just few days ago. Every solution I have found suggests to click the 3 dots next to Camera Raw in the Creative Cloud desktop app, but those dots do not appear next to Camera Raw. I also could not find the file within the Adobe CC Suite in Finder. I do not have “Bridge” installed either.I went through the trouble of completely uninstalling Photoshop to try and remove Camera Raw, but no luck. Appreciate anyone who can provide factual information with clear steps.Thanks.

Ich habe mir eine neue Kamera mit Objektiven gekauft.-Nikon Z50II-Kit-Objektiv Nikkor 16-50 f3.5-6.3-Tamron 18-300 f3.5-6.3-Viltrox 9mm 2.8 Bis jetzt wird keins der Objektive in laut Camera Raw-Liste unterstützt. Welche Nachteile habe ich dadurch und wann kann ich damit rechnen, dass diese Objektive von CR unterstützt werden?Danke

On the attached photo, Distraction Removal > People replaces a group of people with a black patch, not a generated removal.   Tested on LR 15.0.1 on Mac OS 15.7.1, Mac OS 26.1, and Windows 11 Intel (so not specific to a GPU or driver).
