You have to run the installer, not mess with anything within the package you've shown. You of couse need a version that can run under that older OS. But an older version of the DNG converter will not convert newer camera raw files it hadn't yet supported.

The dng converter 13.2 won't work on Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.

The latest dng converter that 10.6.8 can use is 8.3

If the 8.3 dng converter is not new enough for the files your wanting to convert, can you tell us which camera(s) the files are from?

The P950 requires ACR v12.2

Your OS can only support Converter up to v8.3

To continue with Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, you would need to convert your files to DNG in another computer system that can run the current DNG Converter version.

Yes I saw that, which is why I stated-
