Hello!

I have a problem with the files from my newly bought Sony RX100vii in Lightroom Classic (Version 14.2) and DNG Converter.
I shot only in RAW, and am now trying to bring them into Lightroom Classic (Version 14.2). The images cannot be shown in the preview, and when trying to import them, i get the message that "These files cannot be opened by Lightroom". I tried converting them with the Adobe DNG Converter, but I get a similar result as after the conversion process i get the message that "The RAW-format of the file cannot be supported".

I just bought the RX100vii, have done no software updates whatsoever. So I am wondering if that has something to do with it.
I am thankful for any help, as I just want to start editing the photos from my new camera! Thank you in advance! ❤️

You've bought the RX100M7A, a new model that Sony silently introduced recently. You'll have to wait for a new release of LR. Support for a new model from a major manufacturer is usually released in the Lightroom / Camera Raw version following the release date of the camera, sometimes the release after that. LR is released every eight weeks, so we might expect to see LR 14.3 about the first week of April.

I recently both a Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100 mark VII, now I want to import the AWR files in lightroom but it is unable to import this format.

First it mentions: preview unavailable for this file

and when importing it mentions: some import operations were not performed.

I have checked if there is an update for lightroom

Updated Camera RAW

I donwloaded a driver for MACbook from the sony website and now I can preview the files in finder

But lightroom still no succes

anyone has the solution for me?

I've just bought a Sony DSC-RX100M7A to replace my Sony DSC-RX100M7 that I recently misplaced. I've tried to open the .ARW files but a message comes up saying it is not supported. I'm using the latest version of Camera Raw.
Is it yet known when this model will be supported?

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter un tout nouveau Sony DSC-RX100M7, et c'est une nouvelle version du boîtier qui s'appelle Sony DSC-RX100M7A. Il semble que cette toute nouvelle version ne soit pas encore supportée par les versions actuelles de Lighroom/Camera RAW/Photoshop. Il semble aussi que Sony n'ait pas beaucoup communiqué sur le sujet. Pouvez-vous me dire si ce fait est connu et s'il est prévu d'intégrer cet appareil dans la liste des appareils reconnus par ces logiciels, svp? Et si oui, dans quel délai, même approximatif, peut on imaginer que ce soit résolu? Merci pour votre réponse.

Was deliverd 21/1//2024 and I am unable to load the RAW files into LrC as the RAW format is not supported for this camera. Anybod now when tis will be fixed !!! as I am paying a subscription for this software and it is effecting my work/income.
