Hello,
I want to improve a jpg image. The picture is to be a 5 m poster. I've heard that goes with Camera raw. There is probably the function "improve" or "super resolution" in camera raw. However, I do not find this anywhere.I hope you can help me.
I have now updated Photoshop to the latest version:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b x64
Inside i choose camera raw filter
In Camera raw 15.1. i can't find the function:
What is wrong or where can i find it!?
Thank you very much
Kristina

You have to do this in Adobe Camera Raw proper (not as a filter).
Super Resolution can be used on JPEGs, TIFFs etc.
The 'trick' is forcing ACR (not ACR as a filter) to open them as if they were raw (which they are not of course). You do this by selecting the Format menu as Camera Raw. TIFFs, JPEGs etc, open in ACR and you can now use Super Resolution and should save that as a DNG.

On Windows use File>Open As, click on the image file, then select Camera Raw from the File Format menu.
