I have just purchased a Canon 90D. I use Elements 14 to process my images which was fine when using my Canon 7D. Now Elements 14 doesn't recognise my RAW and CR3 files. Do I know have ti upgrade my software to enable me to process my images?

Elements 14 supports up to Camera Raw 9.5. Your new camera requires at least Camera Raw 11.4. Your choices are to either upgrade your Photoshop Elements or use the free DNG converter to create DNG copies on your raw images that you can use with the older version of Camera Raw that you already have.

To add to what Jim suggested, you can check the links shared below.

To check the supported cameras and the minimum Camera Raw version required for the camera model, please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

To check the Camera Raw version supported by various versions of the Adobe applications, please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html

You can get more information about the Adobe DNG converter and download it from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html
