1st slide is faded

New Here ,

I'm using a powerpoint presentation in a video and the 1st slide appears faded when I resized it down to 790 x 545. All other slides in the presentation are fine, showing full color, etc. What can I do to fix the 1st slide? I checked and don't see that I've altered the properties on this slide...
Thank you
Bev

Hi bevbaerren

For this slide, are there any other objects on the slide? Click Boxes, Buttons or Highlight Boxes? There could be many possible explanations. The most likely suspect is a Click Box or Button object pausing the slide during the process of fading into or out of view. The other possibility is that you have a Highlight Box object covering the screen and causing it to appear faded.

Cheers... Rick

Hi Bev, and you too Rick :)

In addition to what Rick has already stated Bev, there is only one thing that I can think of and that is that you have set your project to fade in in the first slide. For this, check Edit/Preferences and then select the "Start and End" node. Your project start and end options are now on the right of the Preferences box, check the settings here to see if the project is set to fade in on the first slide (I think this is the default anyway).

I am having a similar problem: I have a text caption that appears faded or hazy on a slide. I too have a click box over the caption and have removed the pause. What else do I need to do to eliminate the haze?

Thank you!

I removed the click box to test the problem and the caption is still hazy. Now I am really stumped. Please help.
