ActiveX Controls

When I try to preview a slide in a responsive project I receive a message that Internet Explorer restricted this Webpage from running ActiveX Controls.   I am unable to view the project as a responsive project although it was created as a responsive project.  Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?  Thank you.Lillie

    Hi There,

Could you please try to disable the ActiveX controls from Internet Options > Security > Custom Level  and then try to preview. If this step doesn't work then try the below steps :-

1- Try to create a new responsive project and  add audio to the few slides then try to preview? If this works fine then you can try to copy and paste your existing slides in a new responsive project and test preview and see if that makes any difference. .

2-  You may also try any other browser say Chrome apart from IE to preview the responsive project to figure out whether the issue is browser specific. Also confirm if you are previewing your course locally or from network location?

    Regards,

Thank you for your reply.  Placing a check mark in the box "Allow active content to run on My Computer" had no effect.  I did apply and restart.  The first slide previews as a responsive slide without issue, as do other slides in the project, however when I try to preview a slide containing audio, (or one in which I have deleted the audio), I still receive the "ActiveX Controls" message.  Any other suggestions will be appreciate.  Lillie
