The Submit button is also acting as Next button in the two-step Submit Process. Do you understand that process, find more details in this blog post:

https://blog.lilybiri.com/quiz-basics-2-submit-process

The first step will show the feedback message and wait for the second action (pressing Y or clicking the slide) to activate the actions specified for the question. Default action is Continue (for Success and for Last Attempt). You can change that action to Go to Next Slide or move the pausing point of the question slide near to the end of the timeline which gives the same result.

Did you change anything to this process to require to have a Next button? The Submit button and all the buttons on quiz/score slides are not normal buttons, they are embedded (have no individual timeline) and the actions are part of the buttons. The Submit button is the most important one on quiz slides, the Continue on the score slides. Don't mess with them if you want to  keep all the features of the quizzes.

After seeing your answers I may be able to give you a tweak possibility, but that may be a lot more difficult than you expect.

Please, that is not an answer to my questions. Did you change anything to the two-step Submit process which I explained in my first answer?

I have removed the clear, skip and back button and I did not change any thing to the two step submit process.

I hope you 'removed' in the correct way by editing the Quiz Preferences, not by deleting those buttons on the quiz slides nor the quizzing master slides.

Have a look at this blog post explaining how to tweak the Submit process and have your 'next' button:
