i have similar problem but installing adobe captivate..see snapshot below. Need some advise please

    Hi arnoldd76214042,

    Can you please check if you are not running the "Setup.exe" file from a network drive or from inside a zip file? In case of zip file please extract /Unzip it and then try to run setup.exe from the extracted folder.

    In case the issue still exists then please try the below steps(for Windows):

    1. Go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

    2. Rename OOBE folder to OOBE_old.

    3. Go to : Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager : Thank You  and download Adobe Application Manager and install it.

    4. Now try to run the Captivate installation again.

    I moved your question to the Captivate forum because it is not part of the CC. I will try to find someone to help you out, but please can you specify your OS and which version of Captivate you want to install?
