Alternative to Google LMS Widget

Jim Leichliter has a bunch of useful widgets on his website - one of which is the widget to pass Captivate quiz answers and variables directly to google sheets.  In order to avoid implementing a separate LMS a widget like this is ideal.  But his site says he is no longer trading and all paid widgets are 'out of stock'.

In 'Articulate Storyline' using some code provided on forums it is really simple to get variable data into google sheets.  I understand Jim used the widget factory framework to create his widgets - but I have no idea how that works.  Has anyone come up with an alternative method of getting results into google sheets?  At this stage it doesn't matter if this involves going via a google form first.

An alternative would be posting the required variables to a form on my website - but that's probably a stretch.
