Hello,

We are currently hosting our web based training on a Learning Management system.  We are encountering a few issues with the behavior of the some of the courses, but not all of them.  The only difference that we have found is that some of the courses were published in AS2 and some in AS3. Could this be a determining factor? Does anyone know excactly what this setting (AS2 vs AS3) directly controls? Please advise.

Thanks!

I think that's far too broad a question. I doubt anyone, even the CP developers, could definitely state how various CP features and functions are directly affected by AS2 vs. AS3 settings.

The biggest impact that will have, I'd guess, is how the CP project is published to a SWF and the dependency on the Flash Player version. The Flash Player only started including AS3 in, what, version 8? So you'd have to have whatever version of the Flash Player installed to properly view CP projects published to AS3....

Have you found specific issues between AS2 and AS3 published lessons? Can you not publish, say, an AS3 published lesson to AS2 and have it work properly (or to whichever standard is behaving)?
